DELTA STATE STUDENTS CONDEMN FUEL SCARCITY, CALLS FOR INTERVENTION FROM THEIR GOVERNOR

PRESS RELEASE:
NADESSTU SENATE CONDEMNS THE PRICE HIKE, HOARDING OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS AND THE HARDSHIP METED ON DELTANS THIS FESTIVE SEASON.
CALLS ON THE SMART GOVERNOR TO DO THE UNIMAGINABLE TO CURB MENACE.
It is no longer a search engine based news that private petroleum products marketers have let hell lose on individuals and the good people of delta state.
Following the recent hoarding of petrol products by some marketers in recent times, noticeable long queues in pump stations who have decided to sell at inflated rates and the traffic grid lock which the queues have caused serving as risk of life and valuable property of the good people
The Senate of National Association of Delta State Students condemns this inhumane act and also appeal to his excellent Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa , the SMARTEST governor in Africa to come to the rescue of the masses.

The president of the Senate, Comr. Onyeamai Martin, today, while in an interview with pressmen said: "It is only unfortunate that this is happening in a time like this when we are supposed to be in the midst of celebration not hardship, but on a brighter note, I still believe that the smart governor has all it takes to turn back the hands of time. He is a pace setter and I trust that in no distant time the governor will do the unimaginable as it affects Delta state even if it is a national issue."
Still on the same vein, in his final note; the Senate President of delta State Students worldwide, Comr. Onyeamai Martin appreciated the level of job done in recent times by the government in giving Delta State especially Asaba the capital city a new face citing the plethora of road constructions,drainages and infrastructural developments being witnessed, saying "the smart governor can do more, we know, we believe and we are expectant!".
